IT'S OFFICIAL! The Great American Cleanup is finally here!
 
With activities taking place from now through June 20, it's the perfect time to get something on your calendar!  
 
WHAT IS THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP?
 
Spearheaded nationally by Keep America Beautiful, the Great American Cleanup® unifies and beautifies communities nationwide in a grassroots spring-cleaning movement.  
 
Our local Great American Cleanup - Green Up & Clean Up offers many opportunities to organize groups and participate in outdoor activities to make tangible improvements to the environment in Martin County.

Mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Water Fest presented by the City of Stuart and Students4H2O. This fun and interactive environmental festival educates the public on the value of water and the importance of protecting our water resources.

House of Hope Gleaning
3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/20, 5/27
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Western Palm City
 
Gleaning is harvesting the produce remaining after a field has been professionally picked. Once harvested, the produce is distributed to House of Hope pantries instead of being plowed back into the soil. Volunteer support is essential.

Enjoy a guided morning stroll by The Nature Conservancy in the great outdoors through the trails and beaches of Blowing Rocks Preserve to collect debris washed ashore or left behind.

Celebrate Earth Day with Stuart Main Street at their first-ever Downtown Stuart Cleanup! De-litter the streets of our beautiful downtown area before joining the after-party at one of the special local restaurants. Supplies will be provided and people of all ages are invited to participate.

Hobe Sound Cleanup

Join the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce & Jenkins Landscape Co. for a Hobe Sound Area Clean-Up! The Live. Love. Local. Cleanup will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Harry & The Natives. Volunteers will receive a Live. Love. Local. T-shirt, morning refreshments and all clean-up supplies.

Help the Martin County Public Works team restore Mary Brogan Park! After recently removing invasive plants from a small preserve in the park, the team is working to rehabilitate the area by planting native plants while educating the public.
